Renata Barros Fernandes, born in Rio de Janeiro, completed her studies in Marketing in Italy.

She is currently coordinating the Brazilian market launch of a major American shoe brand.

She talks a little about the fashion history of Brazilian. Revealing her point of view as a smart Marketing professional.

Renata : – It was in 1958, in São Paulo, with the first Fenit, the city began to breathe fashion and only in 1959 did the first 100% fashion magazine in Brazil emerged.

With a strong French influence, designers such as Alceu Penna, Dener, Clodovil and Guilherme Guimarães pioneered the success of Brazilian fashion of today with an expression of their own creativity.

Due to the major world crisis, Brazilian fashion is exporting less, but the national product is highly valued in the international market. The most international of south-America countries, Brazil has its own style and is recognized worldwide.
